A Photo a Week Challenge: Music

Last week, for Nancy Merrill’s A Photo a Week Challenge: Music, we were asked to post a photo that shows music. I snapped a few photos of a statue given to us as a wedding gift. It’s a beautiful statue of a saxophonist connected to his two loves. I created the poem below while listening to one of my favorite songs by John Coltrane. I figured this post wouldn’t be complete without adding the song below. 🙂

Music

We were connected
By the sound, by the rhythm
By the saxophone.
